Dr Thomas Lines – Director

BEng (Chem), BSc Biotech (Hons), PhD 

Thomas is an experienced researcher, holding a degree in engineering and a PhD from Monash University. His substantial expertise in soil science and engineering has led him to secure grant funding for multiple projects. His dedication to precision and accuracy ensures that data collection and analysis is executed with the utmost care and scientific rigor. This proficiency extends to delivering tailored solutions to diverse stakeholders, including agriculture, viticulture, horticulture, and engineering industries. His valuable insights contribute significantly to the success and impact of each endeavour, providing sustainable and effective solutions to meet the unique needs of each stakeholder.

Dr Joseph Marks – Director

BIntStud BA, BSc (Adv), PhD 

Joseph is a dedicated expert in the fields of soil science and ecology, holding a PhD from the University of Adelaide. Alongside colleague Thomas Lines, he has undertaken several broad-scale land-use studies, quantifying soil organic carbon stocks, nutrient cycling and soil physical, chemical and biological properties. Notably, Joseph's expertise lies in his adherence to the scientific method – he comprehensively understands soil baselining and monitoring, allowing him to identify potential risks and implement effective strategies to safeguard against them.
